THE BRITISH COUNCIL

Paul Smith, then head of the British Council Mumbai, spearheaded our first training programme in 2004. It was his belief in the project and immense support that helped us stage both the Writers’ Bloc festivals so successfully. The British Council continues its support of our project. We have recently been awarded the Council’s Development Grant, which will help us host the next round of workshops in the latter half of 2010.
